Jana Miller, Marketing Manager Spotlight on Project Success
One aspect of my job I enjoy most is talking with our customers and learning how our software improves their workflows. It truly is remarkable to see the productivity gains and time savings that have been achieved.
I was so glad to interview the Drivers of Success award winners at our last users conference. I encourage you to please check out this new video featuring the testimonial from CAESAR II winner China Huanqiu Contracting & Engineering Corp.
I know that so many of you do great things with our software. Now is the time to share your project success and receive the recognition you deserve.
The annual Drivers of Success competition recognizes innovative applications of CADWorx, CAESAR II, GT STRUDL, or PV Elite. We look for impressive project results and significant benefits from collaboration among disciplines and the integration of the products.
The first place winner in each product category receives registration to attend HxGN Local CAU Houston 2017 along with airfare, hotel accommodations, and a trophy.
Submit your application, and yours could be one of the projects to join the spotlight.

Is Your Stress Work Done?
From a piping code perspective, if all your stresses are below the allowed limits, do you have any additional responsibilities for system design?
Yes. Referencing B31.3 - systems subject to severe cyclic conditions have additional design constraints in the piping specification, allowed fittings, joining methods and examination. Also, systems deemed under severe cyclic service are essentially excluded from category M (toxic) fluid service and there is no provision for this condition in nonmetallic piping systems. But these severe cyclic conditions are not clearly defined by the Code.
